Another edition of the Warsaw Art Fair has passed. This was my second visit. The rainy autumn days make me more willing to see events under the roof. The place in Arkady Kubickiego is very stylish backdrop, although the light is not very strong inside.
Along the fair, there is always a small exhibition. This year we could see Malczewski's paintings. Below the Cindarella in a folk style.
I could not just pass the antiques collections with porcelain, glass, decorations.
It is really difficult to choose between vintage items or modern ones, like these black and white photos by Ryszard Horowitz or Kacper Kowalski.
There were also inexpensive pieces - copies from old drawings of historic streets of Warsaw. Very charming, especially if you can recognise the places in the current city.
After all these great pieces I saw I still cannot decide myself what to buy. I like items with some history or significance to me. One of my wall decorations is a collection of vintage post cards with sketches or drawings of Warsaw from the old times. They include even the real hand written greetings from these past times. It is very sentimental.
Searching for these kind of decor takes most of the time.
