5 reasons I follow Tracy. Australian house / Australijski dom. 5 powodów, dla których obserwuję Tracy

1. Australia 

Tak się jakoś składa, że lubię oglądać świetne domy z Australii i tego regionu świata. Tracy pokazuje swój piękny dom wraz z jego dekoracjami i stylizacjami na IG jako Teatonebrown. Obejmuje on połączenie moich ulubionych wątków chinoiserie ze stylem nadmorskim i  nutą klasyki w klimacie też nawiązującym do wakacji, czyli hamptons.

1. Australia 
Somehow I like a lot of beautiful homes of Autralia and the region. Tracy shows her lovely home with great decorations and style at IG @Teatonebrown. It is my favourite mix of chinoiserie and coastal style with some classics with the holidays vibes of the hamptons style.

  

2. Niebieski z białym

Kocham kolory. Ale różne odcienie niebieskiego zawsze przyciągają mój wzrok. Tutaj mogę podziwiać i prawie granatowy marynarski po głębokie lub pastelowe turkusy. A wszystkie tony łączy biel widoczna w meblach, tkaninach i dekoracjach. Dodatki w rozbielonym drewnie nadają ciepłego klimatu.

2. Blue and white

I love colors. But all sorts of blues always win my heart. Here I can admire both deep navy as well as rich turquoise or pastels. All of them have been toned by a lot of white furniture, decor and fabrics. The bleached wood adds warmth to these colors.

3.Chinoiserie

Trudno mi przejść obojętnie obok jakiegokolwiek ginger jar. Zachwycam się kolekcją Tracy pełną niebiesko białych waz, ginger jars czy podstaw lamp oraz jak ciekawie są one układane w kompozycje na stolikach czy konsolach.

3. Chinoiserie 

I can't pass by any ginger jar. I'm in love with Tracy's collection of blue and white pottery and porcelain vases, lamps and ginger jars and the way she keeps styling them on the tables and consoles.

4. Wzory

Jedna ze ścian została wytapetowana delikatnym wzorem. Ten element dekoruje dom jeszcze ciekawiej. Do tego kolorowe i wzorzyste tkaniny na poduszkach i fotelu.

4. Prints

One of the walls is covered by the wallpaper with a delicate pattern. It makes the whole house decor much more interesting. You can see nice patterns also on the fabrics in armchairs and plenty of cushions.

5. Stylizacje

Na Instaramie mogę obserwować jak pewne elementy przemieszczają się po całym domu Tracy. Podoba mi się jak Tracy stylizuje ściany z lustrami, botanicznymi plakatami i rodzinnymi fotografiami. Na stolikach, półkach mogę podziwiać zgrabne dekoracje z ceramiki, książek, świeżych kwiatów i oczywiście koralowców czy muszli. W końcu jesteśmy niedaleko plaży w Australii. Te wszystkie dodatki powodują, że udziela mi się wakacyjny klimat prawie każdego dnia:)

5. Styling

On IG I can see how the same elements are moved around Tracy's house. I love how she keeps styling the walls with mirrors, botanical prints and family photos. On the tables and shelves you can see very nice collections of pottery, books, fresh flowers and obviously sea shells and corals. It's Australia house near the beach, anyway. All these make me fill vacation vibes every day:)

Ostatnio dom został sprzedany, ale nie mogę doczekać się jakich wyzwań dekoratorskich podejmie się niedługo Tracy.

Actually the house has been sold but I cannot wait to see Tracy's new design and decoration challanges.

Nietypowe wazony / Unusual flower vases

Lato a z nim pełno kwiatów. Królewskie róże, małe polne czy wysokie ogrodowe - możliwości aranżacji jest tysiące. Gdy już zabraknie Wam wazonów na bukiety może będziecie chcieli skorzystać z bardziej nietypowych pomysłów. Można wykorzystać ginger jars, kubki lub filiżanki, mleczniki czy wazy na zupę...  Nawet można pokusić się o własne dekoracje na słoikach lub butelkach. Zainspirujcie się zdjęciami i kwiatowymi aranżacjami.

We have summer and plenty of flowers. Royal roses, little wild flowers or these just from the garden - there are thousand ways of arranging them. When you will run out of vases, you can use less typical ideas. Use ginger jars, mugs and cups, milk jugs or soupe vases... You can decorate the used jars and bottles. Ginger jar history

Uwielbiamy dekorować tymi ceramicznymi wazami toaletki, komody, regały. O ginger jars czyli wazach na imbir - trochę historii przy okazji wspomnienia z wizyty w muzeum w Mumbaju.

Produkcja ceramiki w Chinach sięga 5 tysięcy lat, natomiast porcelany dopiero 10tego wieku. Wtedy też zaczęły powstawać wazy w kształcie owalnego słoja zamykanego wieczkiem do przechowywania soli, olejów, przypraw. Skąd akurat nazwa ginger jar? Na Zachód eksportowano imbir właśnie w takich naczyniach, a moda na chińską sztukę i rzemiosło, zwane chinoiserie, w 19tym wieku spopularyzowała je jako piękny dekoracyjny element.  

Kolekcja w Mumbaju jest imponująca, choć zdjęcia niestety nie oddają tego w pełni (niestety dość ciemne, nie zbyt doświetlone pomieszczenia). Ilość kształtów i różnorodność ręcznie malowanych wzorów i scenek jest imponująca.

The production of the pottery in China reaches 5k years, however the porcelain has started in 10th century. At these times the jars with the lid on were made for storage of salt, oils, spices. Why ginger jar? Ginger was exported to the West in these vases, and they became popular together with chinoiserie fascination in the 19th century.

The collection in Mumbai is remarkable, although you may not see it well due to poor photos (the rooms are dark and with no sufficient light). But you can see how many shapes, sizes, hand painted scenes and decors are there.
