Inspiracja chińską porcelaną, czy chinoiserie jest od niedawna dla mnie nieodzowna. I have heard that the eclectic style is not so much a task for the designer, a stylist's challange, but more the vision and passion of the family. I like the definition of the well known designer, Shaila Bridges: "I love mixing old and new, modern and antique, and putting patterns and prints together in unpredictable ways". It means a lifetime fun of decorating the own house.

The chinoiserie inspiration is what I love for some time now. Ginger jars, chinese vases, blue and white pottery is a part of it, together with the foo dogs.  On instagram I see great decorations and interiors with the foo dogs. There are beautiful ideas presented by DIFFMILLER Style&Design. 

Moje foo dogs kupione kilka miesięcy temu pomagają mi stworzyć właśnie taki stylistyczny misz-masz, który mam nadzieję ciągle brzmi współcześnie. Granatowy kolor ceramiki powtarza się na kanapie. Ze złoto żółtymi kolorami poduch współgra bukiet pachnących frezji (uzupełniony ciekawą roślinką kokoryczką). Brakuje tylko ciekawego obrazu nad sofą, na który ciągle nie mam pomysłu...

My foo dogs bought a few months ago bring me a lot of fun with eclectic decorating. A deep blue color of the pottery corresponds with the sofa cover. The golden yellow on the cushions is a nice combo with the freesias in a vase. What is still missing is a nice painting on the wall, but I am still looking for the best choice...
