Chłonąc nowe trendy na 2016, przeglądając wiele inspirujących zdjęć i publikacji, opisując tutaj możliwości wykorzystania ich w aranżacjach sama poddaję się nastrojowi zmiany. Na  metamorfozę zatem czeka sypialnia. Pomalowana na biało z szarymi meblami potrzebuje trochę koloru: na ścianach, w dodatkach czy tekstyliach.

I tutaj pierwsze wyzwanie – jaki kolor. Nie ukrywam, że delikatny niebieski w wersji SerenityBlue ogłoszonej przez  Pantone do mnie zaczyna przemawiać. Podobne odcienie można znaleźć w Colour Futures 2016 w Dulux w kolekcji Słowa i Obrazy. Nowe pomysły na niebieski pokazuje też Designers Guild w swoich najnowszych kolekcjach na 2016: Couture Rose, Iris, Saraille oraz Polonaise.

Nie mniej jednak utrzymująca się tendencja wykorzystania metali w gorących barwach złota czy miedzi także zachęca. Od jakiegoś czasu bardziej preferuję ciepłe złoto niż chłodne srebro czy nikiel. Do tego trendu nawiązuje kolor roku Dulux: złocista ochra. 

Absorbing new trends for 2016, exploring magazines and internet, describing here possibilities of using them at home I’m getting more and more in the mood for change.  Hence this time the bed room. Currently it has all white walls and grey furniture. So needs a little splash of color: on the walls, in accessories and textiles.

The first difficult choice is the color. The Serenity Blue of Pantone for 2016 is appealing (see ideas presented here). Similar tones of blue are also in the Dulux’s Color Futures 2016 in the collection: Words & Pictures. New blues are also present in the Designers Guild in the 2016 collections: Couture Rose, Iris, Saraille and Polonaise

However the trend in metal accessories which recently prefers gold or copper is also interesting. For some time my preference goes more towards warm gold than to cold silver, nickel or steel. I can find it in the color of the year at Dulux for 2016 – it is a cherish gold. Would mixing blues and gold give enough warmth to the neutral interior? 

Malowanie w domu do tej pory powierzałam fachowcom, ale tym razem dla jednej zdecydowaliśmy, że nie warto wywoływać zamieszania. Farby i podstawowe akcesoria do malowania są przecież do kupienia w każdym dziale marketu budowlanego.
Efekty w sypialni? Kolor tylko na jednej ścianie i dwa dodatkowe pasy na sąsiedniej na pewno dodał wigoru. Złote elementy dekoracyjne ładnie się komponują i dodają ciepła. 

Our indoor painting has been done by the painters team to date. This time just for one wall we decided to try ourselves. The paint and all tle necessary equipment can be bought at any DIY market. 
Efects in our bedroom? The one wall in color with just two additional stripes on the other added some vigor. The golden accessories make the composition very nice and warm.
